Meet Baby, Director of Cuddles
As the Director of Cuddles, Baby takes her role very seriously. She ensures that everyone in the household receives their daily dose of affection. Her responsibilities include greeting everyone with enthusiasm, providing comfort to new foster pups, and making sure that cuddle sessions are never in short supply. Baby's presence brings joy and a sense of security to all, and her ability to snuggle up close makes her the perfect Director of Cuddles. Whether she's basking in the sun, going for a walk, or nestled up with her humans, Baby embodies the love and warmth that Pet Protect & Connect strives to promote in every pet adoption.
Baby's Story
Meet Baby, our beloved Director of Cuddles at Pet Protect & Connect! Baby's journey to finding her forever family is a true testament to the power of love and animal rescue. Left at a municipal shelter in 2020, just after giving birth to a litter of pups,
Baby faced the challenges of being deemed unadoptable due to her reactive nature. Her excitement often led to barking, which was misinterpreted as aggression. Labeled as aggressive and unsuitable for homes with cats, kids, other dogs, or men, Baby’s future seemed bleak. Thankfully, a dedicated shelter staff member saw Baby's potential and advocated for her.
When our founder met Baby, it was love at first sight, and she knew Baby was meant to be adopted into her family. Baby's journey wasn't easy. When she first came to her new home, she was so upset and stressed after a year in the shelter that she was almost bald. With time, love, and care, Baby transformed. Now she welcomes foster pups with her big "hello" barks and a wagging tail. She shares her bed with SuChang every night and is always ready for a snuggle.
At the age of 10, Baby was diagnosed with cancer, but after her mass was removed, she received a clean bill of health. Now, Baby loves to lay in the sun in her yard, go for walks, and, most of all, snuggle with her humans. Though we don’t know what Baby’s first eight years were like, we are grateful that she’ll spend the rest of her years surrounded by love and warmth in her forever home. Baby's story is a reminder that every pet deserves a chance to be adopted and become part of a loving fur family.
